Not much I know, just a strangers music, but it’s my own way of saying thank you for the support I’ve received over the past few years on subreddits like this one. Being a massive fan of bands like Rush and The Who you sometimes have a tendency to write and favour the longer, non radio friendly songs haha I wrangled that desire in for this one.
Don’t let that discourage you, it’s good I promise! haha This is the first single from my upcoming second album and is by far the most commercial in sound and length. I wrote, recorded every instrument, mixed, mastered, created the cover artwork and released this track entirely by myself. Like everything else I’ve ever release this song is entirely a solo effort. A combination you don’t really see a lot of these days. It’s call “You Made It That away” and is a mixture of 80s new-wave, pop and rock (of course). I wanted to share my newest track with you guys. I do a lot of different things and it all adds up which, although is a lot of work, is totally worth it at the end of the day. Live gigs, original music, audio engineer, music tuition. I’ve since achieved this in some way through a combination of different “jobs”.
I had just left my job at the time to pursue a career in music. I shared it on here when I first put it out and received such amazing feedback both positive and constructive. Some of you may remember a little album I released in 2019 called “My Favourite Reflection”.
